Guiding Vision Beyond Sight

FlipTheScript is a patient-founded nonprofit organization supporting people with rare congenital vision conditions, including conditions associated with low vision, deterioration of the eye’s surface, and extreme light sensitivity. Its mission is to help individuals pursue healthier eyes and improved vision while offering emotional, mental, and financial guidance. Rather than focusing only on adapting to vision loss or advancing future research, FlipTheScript emphasizes tangible improvements in eye health, sight, comfort, and quality of life in the present.

The organization serves people of all ages, as well as parents of children with rare congenital vision conditions. Its offerings include guidance on finding appropriate eye-care specialists and treatments, peer support groups, and community advocacy to raise awareness of rare vision conditions. FlipTheScript also invites people to participate through donations, volunteering, and partnerships, helping build a supportive network for patients and families. Guided by compassion, empowerment, inclusion, and transparency, the organization seeks to help people thrive rather than simply cope with their diagnosis. FlipTheScript is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
