Floating Ohm Ltd is a UK-based builder of bespoke luxury electric canal boats, located in East Cowes on the Isle of Wight. The company designs and builds vessels for cruising and comfortable onboard living, with boat designs developed by its in-house naval architect. Its range includes 62-foot widebeam and 57-foot narrowboat options, alongside choices in size, layout and personalisation.
Customers can select a full fit-out or customisable packages, with support from the company’s in-house interior design team to shape a boat around their preferences. Floating Ohm also highlights its use of industry-leading paint products, applied to a high standard, and offers annual maintenance and care packages. The company presents its work as combining technical expertise, a professional team and a high level of finish, while inviting prospective owners to discuss lead times, pricing and finishes.
It is filling build slots for 2027 and has announced a partnership with Pedship Ltd, providing access to Sunderland Dry Dock and additional facilities to support production
