FloodStop

Floodstop.IO is an independent resource that shares do-it-yourself projects for extending the capabilities of Floodstop water-leak protection systems. The site is not affiliated with OnSite PRO, Inc., the manufacturer and trademark owner of Floodstop. Rather than selling or manufacturing the protection equipment, Floodstop.IO focuses on tutorials and instructions that help users add connected features and integrate their systems with other devices.

Floodstop products are designed to detect leaks near household appliances and automatically shut off their water supplies. The product range includes protection for washing machines, water heaters, ice makers, dishwashers, humidifiers, toilets, sinks, water filters, water softeners, and whole homes. The site explains how the systems work and how their sensors, controller, and valves respond to detected water.

Its DIY projects can add email or mobile notifications, remote alarms, local control, and integrations such as IFTTT triggers. Some projects also support shutting off appliance power or coordinating with HVAC equipment. Floodstop.IO provides project categories, FAQs, videos, and technical guidance on connecting projects to the Floodstop controller’s output.
