Flora má

Flora má is a postpartum care practice based in Zaandam, founded by Mell to give new mothers warmth, time and personal attention during the transition into motherhood. Mell visits clients at home and transforms their space into a calm, spa-like setting, with treatments designed to help mothers pause and feel supported after pregnancy and birth. Her services include postpartum massage, moxa therapy, belly binding and yoni steaming, offered individually or in combinations and packages.

The practice’s approach recognizes that new mothers can experience many emotions at once, and provides a gentle, unhurried environment without judgment. Flora má also offers a free 10-minute meditation for mothers seeking a moment to reconnect with themselves, as well as gift vouchers that can be given to expectant or new mothers. The brand grew from Mell’s personal experience of motherhood and loss, and from her wish to make mothers feel seen beyond the needs of their baby.
