Flora Grubb Gardens is a California garden store and plant nursery with locations in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Founded by gardener, designer, and nurseryman Flora Grubb, the business promotes gardens that are both beautiful and ecologically intelligent. Its plants are grown on the company’s 30-acre farms in Rainbow Valley, San Diego County, and include rare and unusual varieties, drought-tolerant selections, California natives, palm trees, and houseplants.
The nursery also offers pottery and planters, outdoor furniture, and distinctive gifts, including seasonal Christmas trees and ornaments. Customers can visit to browse, use the potting bench, or book a design consultation with the team’s horticulturists and designers. For projects beyond the stores, expert staff help customers select plants and containers through email, photos, and video calls, with regional delivery available.
Flora Grubb Gardens also delivers locally, rents plants and signature pottery for events, and provides wholesale and trade services. Through its products, consultations, and plant guidance, the brand helps customers create resilient gardens designed to thrive with minimal water and chemicals
