Florida Horses

Florida Horses is an online resource for finding information about horse-related licenses and professionals in Florida. The site reports that more than 68,000 horse licenses have been issued in the state and offers tools to browse license listings, check a license’s status, and find renewal details. Visitors can search by location, with areas listed including Miami, Tampa, Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, and Oldsmar. The directory also features horse names and allows users to write and read reviews.

The site explains that horse racing involves a broad range of occupations. Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation issues pari-mutuel and professional licenses to people working in the industry, including horse owners, jockeys and their agents, racing game officials, and horse brokers. It notes that most license applications require a criminal background check and directs visitors to the Department for further information. Florida Horses also provides About and Contact sections and links to other professional licensing directories.
