Florida PACE Centers

Florida PACE Centers provides comprehensive, coordinated healthcare and social support for older adults who want to remain independent in their homes and communities. The organization delivers the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) through Miami Jewish Health, drawing on a longstanding focus on geriatric health and elder care. Its services are intended for people who qualify for nursing home care but can live safely at home or in the community with appropriate support.

Care is personalized and may include primary and specialist physician services, along with access to adult day health centers and social engagement. Florida PACE Centers also works with families and caregivers to support participants’ needs and care plans. Enrollment is generally available to people aged 55 or older who live within the service area and meet the program’s eligibility requirements. Costs depend on coverage: Medicaid, or Medicaid combined with Medicare, may cover services for eligible participants; Medicare-only participants pay a monthly premium, and private payment may also be possible.
