Flors Silvestres de Catalunya

Flors Silvestres de Catalunya is a photographic and educational resource created by Joan Altimira i Noguero, a nature enthusiast whose interest in wildflowers grew from years of exploring the mountains. What began as an effort to document the flowers of the Pedraforca massif developed into a broader project covering the Pyrenees, from the Vall d’Aran to the Empordà, and other areas of Catalonia. The website presents an extensive collection of plant photographs alongside descriptive information, classification tools, explanations, and a glossary.

Visitors can explore flowers by colour, scientific or common-name indexes, and categories such as trees, protected plants, toxic plants, medicinal and edible species, parasites, and botanical families. The site also includes material on plant biology, fungi, arthropods, and unusual plant forms, as well as bibliographic references and links.
