FLOW Collaborative

F.L.O.W. Collaborative is a marine conservation and management consultancy founded and led by Katherine Short, based in Wellington, New Zealand. It supports organisations seeking to improve ocean health and build a living ocean economy through strategic, intentional and regenerative approaches. Katherine brings three decades of marine conservation leadership and works at the intersection of marine conservation, Te Ao Māori, the blue economy and systems transformation.

The Collaborative offers strategic guidance, programme development and delivery, and mentoring and coaching. Its work includes designing and delivering complex, multi-party initiatives that connect conservation science, policy and practical implementation. Clients can also draw on Katherine’s professional networks across government, industry, academia and civil society, as well as her experience in Indigenous partnership and regenerative systems.
