Flugfreunde Neckartal-Odenwald

Flugfreunde Neckartal-Odenwald e.V. is a flying and air-sports association serving the Neckartal-Odenwald area. The club grew from the former Segelfliegerclub Eberbach and has worked to establish itself as a modern organisation with a focus on the future of local flying. Its website provides information for members, visitors and people interested in aviation, including details about the airfield, current flight conditions, the club’s aircraft, fees and circuit procedures.

The association also promotes opportunities to experience and learn to fly. Prospective participants can find information about introductory flights and flight training, while the site’s schedule, documents, photo gallery, videos and blog offer further insight into club activities and aviation. The club is organised by a volunteer board and brings together pilots and fellow flying enthusiasts. Following a fatal accident in Weinheim in September 2026, the association announced that most club operations were paused while members mourned their first chairman and supported those affected.
