Flugschule Jura Thal

Flugschule Jura Thal is a paragliding school based in Matzendorf, Switzerland, offering training and flying experiences in the Jura region and, at times, the Alps. Its programs support beginners through to pilots pursuing a brevet, with options including introductory days, basic courses, altitude flights, brevet courses and private coaching. The school also arranges passenger flights, group and corporate events, flying holidays and camps throughout the year.

For active pilots, JuraPlus provides additional information and subscription options, while the service center offers paraglider, reserve parachute and harness servicing, as well as equipment demonstrations, second-hand gear and rentals. The school’s Matzendorf workshop sells paragliders and harnesses from brands including Advance, Skywalk, Ozone, Supair, Niviuk, UP and PHI, with personal equipment advice. Its team schedules four flying days a week and adapts instruction to conditions and learners’ needs.

Flugschule Jura Thal presents its approach as welcoming, practical and safety-conscious, helping people progress from a first taste of flight to independent paragliding
