Fly Fishing Women

Fly Fishing Women of Minnesota is a welcoming community for women who want to learn, enjoy and grow in the sport of fly fishing. Based in Minnesota, the club supports anglers at every experience level, from those making their first cast to longtime fishers seeking new skills and connections. Its purpose is to make fly fishing more approachable by helping members build confidence, share knowledge and form friendships on and off the water.

The club offers beginner-friendly, hands-on learning through casting clinics, workshops, fly-tying activities and mentorship. Members can also take part in guided trips, social gatherings and fishing meetups across Minnesota, including summer outings around the Twin Cities. Events are designed to encourage learning and connection without pressure or judgment, and members are welcome to participate as they are. Fly Fishing Women of Minnesota provides opportunities to explore local waters, practice skills alongside supportive peers and enjoy time outdoors together. Women interested in joining can explore membership and upcoming events through the organization’s website.
