Flying Flönz

Flying Flönz is a basketball supporters’ club for the Rheinstars Köln, bringing fans together to back the team at home and away games. The group helps supporters share the excitement of the season through organized trips, ticket arrangements and travel coordination for away fixtures, including rail journeys and carpools. At home games, members gather in a designated cheering section and run a fan-club stand where visitors can find club merchandise such as T-shirts, scarves, stickers and hand-painted banners.

Flying Flönz also creates opportunities for fans to connect beyond the court, organizing meet-ups with players and seasonal gatherings featuring refreshments and homemade food. Its activities include themed match-day initiatives, coordinated fan displays and fundraising, with proceeds from events supporting future fan actions. The club communicates practical information about games, tickets and travel, while encouraging a lively, united atmosphere in support of Rheinstars Köln.

Rooted in Cologne’s basketball community, Flying Flönz combines passionate match support with social events and shared traditions, helping fans participate in the team’s journey throughout the season
