About Flying Tin Cans
**Flying Tin Cans** is an enthusiastic reenactment group dedicated to the thrilling world of WWII air warfare. Our mission is to create exciting and historically accurate simulated campaigns in the renowned IL-2 Sturmovik series of combat flight simulators. With a focus on delivering high-quality experiences, we operate our meticulously crafted campaigns every Sunday, bringing together virtual pilots from across the globe.
As part of a community that cherishes aviation history, members join one of nine squadrons, each consisting of 12 to 14 pilots, actively engaging in multiplayer and player-versus-player scenarios. Our campaigns are bilingual, operating primarily in English and German, ensuring everyone can participate. Each mission is carefully designed by our dedicated team, reflecting actual historical events to provide an immersive experience that educates as well as entertains.
