Flymingo

Flymingo is a shared charter flight platform focused on making travel around the Caribbean more flexible and accessible. Through its app, travelers can find available seats on private charter flights, book discounted empty-leg journeys, or request a private charter and receive bids from pilots and charter companies. Passengers can request specific aircraft, destinations, and departure preferences, with flexible schedules allowing them to choose from times offered by pilots. Small groups can make a request public so other travelers can join and share the cost, while flight alerts notify users when preferred routes become available.

The service is designed to help travelers reach smaller islands and secluded destinations that may involve long boat transfers, while avoiding some of the crowds and delays associated with commercial airports. Flymingo says it verifies pilots, inspects aircraft, checks current documents, and provides pilots with passenger and cargo details to support safe, balanced flights. The company also promotes filling unused seats as a way to improve flight efficiency.
