Flyte is the umbrella organization for drowning prevention in Norway. Our mission is to promote water safety and prevent drownings. With our campaign You are not a fish, we aim to remind everyone to exercise caution around water this summer.

Are you familiar with the water safety rules? In the news, we are pleased to announce that Flyte has been invited to a consultation meeting with the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Fisheries regarding the national action plan for drowning prevention. We recently held our first annual meeting, marking an important milestone in Flyte's history. Excitingly, the government has established a zero-tolerance policy for drowning, which was presented by the Minister of Fisheries and Seafood, Bjørnar Skjæran, during the Arendal Week.
