About FMCN
FMCN, short for Fondos MΓ©xico para la ConservaciΓ³n de la Naturaleza, is an institution dedicated to preserving Mexico's natural heritage. We work by channeling financial resources and connecting various stakeholders to protect the country's wealth of biodiversity. Our approach involves forming alliances with private and public donors, civil society, government entities, and international agencies.
By bringing these actors together, we create a comprehensive conservation effort that addresses the challenges faced by our natural ecosystems. Through funding and collaboration, we support our allies in implementing impactful conservation initiatives in the field. We ensure transparency and accountability by closely monitoring the use of financial resources and documenting lessons learned.
This also helps us identify new opportunities for collaboration with our partners. Our programs focus on species conservation, sustainable resource management, and capacity development. We work towards protecting endangered species, preserving ecosystems, promoting sustainable agriculture and livestock practices, improving water basin management, and supporting sustainable fishing.
At FMCN, we believe in the power of partnerships and the importance of building a sustainable future through conservation. Join us in our mission to safeguard Mexico's natural heritage for current and future generations
