FMG Granada, formally Fábrica de Municiones de Granada, is a historic Spanish manufacturer of ammunition and defence equipment based in El Fargue, Granada. Its documented roots date to 1324, and the company continues to produce gunpowder, combining centuries of manufacturing experience with modern production methods. Since 2020, FMG has been part of MSM Group, a defence holding within Czechoslovak Group.
FMG’s portfolio includes tank ammunition, recoilless cannon ammunition, artillery shells, mortar rounds, propellants and propellant charges, as well as rockets and EOD equipment. Its products serve operational and training requirements, with artillery offerings including 155 mm ammunition and mortar rounds available in 120 mm, 81 mm and 60 mm calibres. The company also supplies explosive ordnance disposal equipment designed to help specialised military and police units remove or neutralise unexploded ordnance, improvised explosive devices and other hazardous materials.
FMG reports that its operations follow quality, safety and environmental standards including ISO 9001, PECAL 2110, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
