FMSG Ertingen

Flugmodellsportgruppe Ertingen e.V. is a model aviation club based in Ertingen, Germany, welcoming people who enjoy flying model aircraft. The association brings together pilots of different ages and experience levels for recreational flying, competitions, events, and community activities. Members use the club’s model flying field for regular flights and organised gatherings, including its annual flight day and glider-towing meet. The club also hosts the Lilienthal 40 Cup, a model flying competition that attracts participants from other regional clubs, as well as an internal flying contest judged on manoeuvres, approach, and landing.

A key part of the group’s work is introducing young people to the hobby. During its summer holiday programme, experienced instructors teach children aged eight to thirteen to fly using a teacher-pupil training system, with aircraft provided by the club. The association also organises seasonal events, social meet-ups, and member activities, and shares updates, event information, photographs, and links through its website and Instagram. Flugmodellsportgruppe Ertingen e.V. offers a welcoming setting for learning, practising, and enjoying model aviation together.
