Féile na Gaeilge is a welcoming Irish-language festival held in Ballydehob, West Cork, celebrating Irish and making it accessible to the whole community. The 2026 festival takes place from 2 to 4 October, with events across the village in pubs, cafés, the community hall and outdoor spaces. Its message, “Irish for everyone,” reflects an inclusive programme for children, teenagers, parents, neighbours, language learners and fluent speakers; no prior knowledge of Irish is required.

The festival offers a varied mix of cultural, creative and social activities. The programme includes conversation circles, Irish-song sessions, live music, a wood-carving workshop, Yoga Nidra with live music, speed conversation and a soccer match. Music sessions and gigs featuring a range of performers take place throughout the weekend. Most events are free and open to all, while some require tickets or advance booking, particularly where places are limited. The festival welcomes donations to support its activities and provides accommodation information, event listings and occasional updates about future events through its website.
