About First Nations Child and Family Caring Society of Canada
The First Nations Child & Family Caring Society (FNCS) is a national nonprofit organization that is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of First Nations youth and their families. Established in 1998, FNCS provides research, policy development, professional development, and networking support for First Nations child and family service agencies across Canada. FNCS works tirelessly to address contemporary hardships faced by Indigenous families and uplift all Canadians through a reconciliation framework.
Their goal is to champion culturally based equity for First Nations children and their families, enabling them to grow up safely at home, be healthy, achieve their dreams, celebrate their languages and culture, and take pride in their identity. In collaboration with partners in Canada and around the world, FNCS promotes the rights of Indigenous children.
