FNPETI, the Fórum Nacional de Prevenção e Erradicação do Trabalho Infantil, is a pivotal organization in Brazil dedicated to combating child labor and raising awareness about its implications. Established as a collaborative platform, FNPETI aligns with key institutions such as the Ministry of Labor, the Justice System, and the International Labour Organization to foster effective strategies aimed at eradicating child labor across the nation.

The forum undertakes various initiatives, including nationwide campaigns and educational events like the National Seminar, which engages experts to discuss the serious consequences of child labor and the urgent need for systemic change. FNPETI also conducts extensive research, exemplified by its analysis of microdata from the PnadC 2022, which highlights the alarming prevalence of child labor, particularly in regions such as the North and Northeast of Brazil.

By providing invaluable resources, organizing events, and advocating for policy change, FNPETI plays a crucial role in promoting children's rights and working towards a future free from child exploitation.
