Friends of Chernobyl's Children West Lothian (FOCC West Lothian) is an independent charity dedicated to improving the lives of children from Belarus affected by the Chernobyl disaster. Established in 2010, the organization brings groups of children to West Lothian for a month-long respite from their harsh living conditions, which often include inadequate housing, lack of running water, and severe winter temperatures. FOCC West Lothian operates entirely through the support of volunteers who host children in their homes, providing them with care, love, and various healthy activities during their stay.

Every year, children benefit from a comprehensive program of educational and health-related activities, including visits to medical professionals. Upon arrival, the children bring little with them, but they leave with essential items like clothing and vitamins to support their health until their next visit. FOCC West Lothian is affiliated with Friends of Chernobyl’s Children (GB) but ensures that all funds raised directly support their initiatives for the children and their families in Belarus.
