Dansk Førstehjælpsråd, or the Danish First Aid Council, works to help more people respond effectively to illness and accidents. Its mission is to promote the right first aid when emergencies occur, supporting safer communities and a more resilient society. The council provides information for both first aiders and first aid instructors. Visitors can learn about first aid training, approved teaching materials and the council’s guidelines, as well as find news and stories about its work.

The council also supports the documentation of completed first aid courses. After a course, participants receive a link to a certificate that records details including the course, issue date, instructor and issuing organisation. Certificates are issued by one of the 13 organisations that are members of, or have a cooperation agreement with, the council. Each certificate includes an ID that can be used to validate it if needed. Based in Odense, Dansk Førstehjælpsråd works with its member and partner organisations to encourage first aid learning and help people be ready to assist others in an emergency.
