Foil Mates

Foil Mates is a pumpfoiling app and community designed to help riders find places to foil and connect with others on the water. Its worldwide map brings together spots shared by the community, with practical details such as start type, dock height, parking, showers, cafés, and rider ratings. Users can add favourite locations, explore new destinations, and see who is currently foiling at spots they follow.

The app also helps riders coordinate sessions through scheduling, notifications, spot chats, and interest groups, without requiring them to share phone numbers. Its forum offers a place to exchange advice on equipment, repairs, travel, and foiling, as well as find or organize local meetups and larger events. Riders can log spot visits, time on the water, starts, and distance to track their progress. Foil Mates also lists foiling schools and shops on its map, helping beginners find instruction and riders locate equipment providers. The app is available to download for free and aims to make discovering spots and enjoying foiling a more social experience.
