Foix Ariège Pyrénées is the tourism destination and visitor information service for Foix and the surrounding Ariège region in the heart of the Pyrenees. It helps visitors discover a lively area where culture, heritage and outdoor experiences meet, and provides practical guidance for planning a stay.

The destination’s attractions include the medieval city of Foix and its imposing castle, the underground Labouiche River, and the Forges de Pyrène, where museums, immersive experiences and living workshops explore the past. Visitors can also enjoy natural highlights such as the Prat d’Albis and Col des Marrous, alongside local crafts and producers.

Outdoor activities feature prominently, with hiking routes, cycling itineraries and the Foix–Saint-Girons greenway, as well as rafting, canoeing, kayaking and paragliding. The site also helps travelers find restaurants, cafés, markets, accommodation and transport information. Its event listings cover festivals, fairs, exhibitions, cinema, conferences and family activities throughout the year. Through destination inspiration, practical resources and booking information, Foix Ariège Pyrénées supports visitors in discovering the region at their own pace.
