About Folkové prázdniny
Folkové prázdniny is an eight-day music and arts festival held in Náměšť nad Oslavou, Czech Republic. The event invites visitors to enjoy an immersive cultural “holiday,” with opportunities to take part actively or simply experience the performances and activities. Its 2026 edition runs from July 25 to August 1 and marks the festival’s 40th year, themed around light.
The programme brings together folk and world music with a range of related cultural experiences. Events include main-stage and nighttime concerts, performances in a tent, music theatre, and an open stage, alongside dance sessions, exhibitions, and a symposium. Visitors can also explore Hnízdo múz, take part in workshops, and attend organ performances.
