Fondata nel 1982 in Umbria, Italia, dalla passione per la meccanica e dallo spirito imprenditoriale di Pietro Flavi, FOMAP opera sin dalla sua nascita nel settore della meccanica di precisione per i settori Difesa ed Energia. Grazie alle collaborazioni con importanti aziende internazionali del settore, l’azienda ha acquisito una vasta esperienza nella risoluzione di problemi, specializzandosi nella produzione di componenti di medie e grandi dimensioni basati su disegni del cliente, con operazioni ad alta precisione di alesatura, foratura, fresatura e tornitura CNC. Nel corso degli anni, FOMAP ha sviluppato competenze ingegneristiche proprie e, oggi, sotto la guida della terza generazione, è in grado di co-progettare e produrre in Italia soluzioni personalizzate Build to Print e Build to Spec, oltre a gestire progetti con responsabilità di sistema per i settori Aerospaziale, Spazio, Difesa (AS&D) ed Energia.
