The François Schneider Foundation is a contemporary art centre in Wattwiller, Alsace, dedicated to artistic exploration of water. Housed in a former bottling plant redesigned around light and transparency, the centre presents two to three exhibitions each year, alongside a cultural programme focused on this vital element. Its collection brings together works from the Talents Contemporains competition, examining water through artistic, poetic, aesthetic, geographical, political and scientific perspectives.

The Foundation supports creation, education and culture through exhibitions at the centre and at external venues, an international Talents Contemporains competition, acquisitions for its collection and higher-education scholarships.
