Fondazione Amedeo Iorillo

Fondazione Amedeo Iorillo is a nonprofit Third Sector organisation based in Flumeri, Campania, established to support local communities and promote social cohesion and sustainable, responsible development. Guided by cooperative principles, it pursues civic, charitable and social-benefit aims without seeking private profit. Its work spans cultural and artistic activities, education and vocational training, sport, social and health assistance, scientific research, and university and postgraduate learning. The foundation also promotes cooperation, particularly among young people, through initiatives such as study awards and scholarships intended to help students continue and complete their education.

Working with cultural institutions and public and private partners, the organisation supports projects, publications, events and social-inclusion activities. Its Legàmi project, included in Campania’s 2023 cultural promotion plan, connects children’s storytelling and photography with local traditions, with plans for a collection of fairy tales and images and a themed exhibition. The foundation also provides financial contributions to community initiatives, including refugee support, education on legality and social justice, health and wellbeing, cultural events, and volunteer organisations.
