Fondazione Casa di Davide

Fondazione Casa di Davide ETS is an Italian nonprofit organization dedicated to research and care for childhood cancers and leukaemias. For more than 30 years, it has supported children receiving onco-haematological treatment and their families, particularly those who live outside Rome and cannot return home between therapies. Located near the Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital, Casa di Davide provides free accommodation in furnished apartments, shared spaces and a garden, offering families a welcoming place to stay during treatment.

The foundation’s work extends beyond hospitality. It offers practical assistance and psychological, educational and social support to young patients and caregivers throughout the care journey. Its initiatives include the Una Rete per Noi and Parole in Ascolto projects, as well as Craft Room activities, pet therapy and clown therapy. A team of psychologists, educators, clowns and pet therapists helps foster wellbeing, connection and moments of play. The public can support the foundation through donations, its 5×1000 campaign, charitable products, volunteering and contributions to specific projects.
