Fondazione Crida is a rehabilitation organization serving the provinces of Prato, Pistoia and Florence, where it has provided health, social-health and psychosocial services for more than 30 years. Its mission is to improve patients’ quality of life by supporting individual abilities, personal autonomy and social inclusion, particularly for people with disabilities. The foundation operates as an integrated network of services and projects and is authorized and regionally accredited as a centre for functional recovery and rehabilitation.
Its healthcare services address neurological and geriatric conditions, including Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s, as well as orthopedic, rheumatological and respiratory disorders. Treatments also include rehabilitation after surgery or limb amputation, lymphoedema care, speech therapy for adults, scoliosis treatment, postural re-education, pain-relief exercise, aquatic rehabilitation and home physiotherapy under agreement. Crida also offers respiratory rehabilitation, telerehabilitation and group exercise activities.
Its social-health area includes initiatives such as Progetto Autonomia and Progetto Integrato Ghandi. Services are available through its locations and programs across the three provinces
