Fondazione

Fondazione F is a Milan-based nonprofit established in 2023 at the initiative of Dr. Carlo Pizzocaro, president and CEO of Fidia Farmaceutici. It works to strengthen scientific culture and support research through initiatives in Italy and internationally, with a focus on education, opportunity for young people, and access to care for patients facing hardship.

The foundation’s activities include helping people with limited means access specialist consultations and timely diagnoses by connecting them with medical professionals. It also supports medical education for talented students and early-career doctors, including opportunities for advanced training, and promotes scientific research and prevention, particularly in areas such as blindness and diabetes. By backing training at centers of excellence, Fondazione F aims to encourage innovation across disciplines, including digital health and the application of artificial intelligence. In addition, it supports cultural and social projects that benefit the wider community and reflect its mission. Across these efforts, the foundation seeks to reduce inequalities, expand access to healthcare and education, and contribute to a more inclusive and equitable future.
