Fondazione Falcone

The Giovanni Falcone Foundation is dedicated to promoting legality, justice, and the fight against crime, by continuing the legacy of the renowned Italian magistrate Giovanni Falcone, a pivotal figure in the battle against the mafia. Established in the aftermath of the Capaci and Via D'Amelio massacres in 1992, the foundation focuses on instilling a culture of justice and civic responsibility among communities, especially youth. Their initiatives include educational programs, cultural projects, and community engagements designed to foster awareness about the historical fight against organized crime.

Among their notable efforts is "L'albero dei Tutti," a colossal contemporary art installation symbolizing the lives lost to the mafia, which has traveled across Italy to inspire civil consciousness. The foundation engages with various partners and institutions to create accessible spaces for education and reflection about the challenges of mafia influence. By leveraging art and cultural heritage, the Giovanni Falcone Foundation actively contributes to building a more just society while honoring the memories of those who fought for a better future.
