Fondazione Federico Amato

The Federico Amato Foundation is a nonprofit organization established to honor Federico’s memory and pursue civic, charitable, and social-welfare aims. Based in the province of Messina, Italy, it works across scientific research, education, training, charitable giving, and the promotion of culture and the arts, with particular emphasis on sport and participation in sporting activities.

The foundation supports research of social interest, including studies on sport and training methods and efforts to combat doping. It also promotes sports culture, helps create and manage sports centers and facilities, and encourages young people to learn about road safety. Its cultural initiatives include activities in the arts and the creation or management of libraries, museums, and cultural centers. The foundation also provides charitable support to young people and people in need.

Among its programs are scholarships for graduates in Motor Sciences, Sport and Health who live in Gioiosa Marea or Piraino. It has also supported youth football events that bring young people together around friendship and respect.
