Fondazione ETS Tito Tocca Colore

Fondazione Tito Tocca Colore ETS is a Turin-based nonprofit founded by Elide and Daniele Mancardi in memory of their son Tito. The foundation aims to turn personal loss into practical support for children with congenital cardiopulmonary conditions and other health challenges, and for families facing social or medical vulnerability.

Its work combines family assistance, information and advocacy with support for scientific research into congenital heart and lung conditions. The foundation helps families understand and navigate a diagnosis of CPAM, a congenital lung malformation, and organizes activities for affected children and their families. Its initiatives also include educational programs, awareness campaigns, training, seminars, events, workshops, scholarships and research awards. It collaborates with scientific, university, cultural and research organizations, as well as public and private institutions, in Italy and abroad. The foundation also undertakes international solidarity projects and fundraising, including initiatives to provide food and drinking water to people in Gaza.

Among its projects are family workshops, the biennial Tito Mancardi Prize for young researchers, and an illustrated children’s book about Tito.
