Fonderia Artistica Stefan is an Italian art foundry founded in Treviso in 1969 and based in Carbonera, in the province of Treviso. Built on craftsmanship, passion and professional experience, the workshop specialises in artistic castings made using the traditional lost-wax method, a technique passed down from an historic Venetian foundry. It casts artworks in bronze, brass and silver, serving artists and clients in Italy and around the world.
The foundry also undertakes large-scale projects, working with an experienced model maker to enlarge works from models measuring 30 centimetres up to three metres. Its restoration service covers bronze castings of all sizes, including works that are modern or historic. Customers can commission lost-wax castings from models owned by the foundry, with reproductions customised using patinas in different colours and, if desired, mounted on a selected marble or wooden base.
