Food Forest Design Minnesota

Food Forest Design Minnesota is dedicated to transforming residential and community landscapes into sustainable food forests. Our mission is to empower individuals, families, and organizations such as schools, churches, and community centers to establish low-maintenance, high-yield edible landscapes. We address critical issues like food insecurity and environmental degradation by promoting self-sustaining food systems that provide access to nutritious, pesticide-free produce.

Our extensive range of services includes food forest design, permaculture farm consultation, soil testing, and indoor grow systems, as well as educational opportunities through our School of Permaculture. We collaborate with diverse partners including real estate developers and public facilities to enhance biodiversity and community resilience. Our innovative approach leverages natural ecosystems to create adaptable gardens that thrive in any climate, ensuring abundant resources while dispelling myths about the impracticality of home food production. At Food Forest Design Minnesota, we are passionate about fostering healthier lifestyles and a sustainable future by turning ordinary lawns into thriving, regenerative ecosystems.
