The International Planning Committee for Food Sovereignty (IPC) is an autonomous global platform uniting over 6000 organizations and 300 million small-scale food producers and rural workers worldwide. Our goal is to advance the Food Sovereignty agenda globally and regionally. We focus on advocating for the right of all people to healthy, culturally appropriate food produced sustainably, with an emphasis on empowering food producers, distributors, and consumers.

Established in 2007, the IPC facilitates dialogue among civil society actors, governments, and others in the food security and nutrition field. We are not affiliated with political parties or the private sector, ensuring an independent and inclusive space for discussion.
