About FOODSPORT
FOODSPORT is a social innovation project under the Symbol of Alliance, a social enterprise in Hong Kong. It aims to promote a healthy and sustainable society by combining sports and food to address issues related to health and hunger. In today's busy environment, people are increasingly focusing on their health and adopting healthier diets.
However, Hong Kong still faces significant poverty and food scarcity problems. FOODSPORT organizes various sports activities and calculates the calories burned by participants, transforming them into equivalent amounts of food. This food is then donated to charitable organizations and individuals in need.
