Bufdir offers support to nationwide voluntary children's and youth organizations through operational grants. The scheme includes both national and international basic support managed by the Allocation Committee. The goal is to facilitate children and youth participation in these organizations, promoting engagement, responsibility, and providing a platform for involvement and democracy.

Eligible organizations must focus on issues concerning children and youth, with youth participants, meeting specific criteria outlined in the regulations. Support is not provided to certain types of organizations like educational or sports groups. The grants are intended for operational expenses related to central activities, administration, meetings, events, and more.

Funding is calculated based on specific criteria, such as the number of members, local branches, and participation days. Organizations meeting the requirements can apply for national and international support to further their work in youth development. Applications can be submitted through Bufdir's online portal, adhering to specific documentation requirements for review and potential funding
