About FRI
FRI – Foreningen for kjønns- og seksualitetsmangfold is an organization dedicated to promoting equality and fighting against discrimination based on gender and sexuality norms in Norway and globally. They offer a range of services and programs to support individuals, communities, and organizations in their advocacy and education efforts. FRI encourages engagement and membership to increase local activities, support, connections, and visibility.
Through their various departments, including the Rosa kompetanse program, they provide resources and training on gender-affirming care, LGBTQ+ rights, and inclusive practices in different sectors like education, healthcare, justice, and more. FRI also organizes events, such as Pride celebrations nationwide, to create more awareness and solidarity. With their new office in Mariboes gate 13, Oslo, FRI aims to continue their impactful work, advocating for a more inclusive society for all.
