OSINT Techniques

Forensic OSINT, a brand from Forensic Notes, provides digital evidence capture and investigation tools for investigators, analysts, and OSINT professionals. Its Chrome extension and platform help preserve webpages and online content as they appear, including images, videos, threaded comments, and other supporting context. Captures are timestamped and protected against later alteration, helping users document what they observed and when.

The platform turns preserved material into structured, digitally signed PDF reports designed for investigative review, disclosure, and legal scrutiny. Users can organize captures into cases, connect material to subjects or organizations through Subject Dossiers, and retain investigator notes alongside evidence. Other outputs include video evidence continuity reports, case evidence overviews, and disclosure-ready packages.

Forensic OSINT offers cloud, single-tenant cloud, and self-hosted deployment options, as well as Elite Assisted Capture for discovering and capturing pages or posts with user approval. The brand also provides documentation, OSINT guides and training, support, and free tools for IP lookups, timestamp decoding, email header analysis, and image EXIF inspection.
