Forest Carbon is a brand that aims to restore our environment and achieve genuine sustainability by maximizing investments and optimizing their impact. Founded in 2006, Forest Carbon's core purpose is to increase woodland cover in the UK and enable businesses to give back to local nature restoration projects. They have successfully connected private sector investments to fund the planting of over 13 million trees primarily in the UK, thanks to strong partnerships with landowners, companies, and individuals.
Forest Carbon has developed certification standards, such as the Woodland Carbon Code and the Peatland Code, to ensure the integrity of the UK carbon market. In addition to forests, Forest Carbon is also focused on financing peatland restoration projects and supporting other initiatives like farm soil carbon, agroforestry, hedgerows, salt marshes, and marine environments. By harnessing the power of businesses, Forest Carbon aims to regenerate nature and restore balance for future generations to enjoy
