Forestream Care, developed by Forestream Technologies Kft. in Hungary, is an AI-powered home monitoring system designed to support older adults, their families, and care providers. It uses camera-based motion analysis to identify events such as falls, unusual inactivity, nighttime movement, and changes in daily activity. Image processing takes place on the device, and the system does not store video or use facial recognition; it works with anonymized movement data to prioritize privacy.

Forestream provides continuous monitoring and can alert designated family members or caregivers through push notifications, SMS, or automated phone calls. Its service plans are tailored to home size, with options for one or four rooms and additional cameras. The system includes discreet, wall-mounted sensors, a mobile app, and setup for notification preferences and alert rules. For residential care facilities, it offers event alerts and activity information to support staff. Forestream also aims to develop longer-term movement trend analysis and research applications, subject to appropriate consent and validation.
