Företagssköterskor

Riksföreningen för företagssköterskor is a Swedish nonprofit professional association founded in 1957. It brings together registered nurses working in occupational health services and occupational and environmental medicine, across different specialties and workplaces. The association aims to strengthen the profession and support a healthier, more sustainable working life by promoting physical and psychosocial workplace health, preventing ill health and contributing to rehabilitation.

Membership offers nurses a professional network, updates on developments in their field, and opportunities to share knowledge and experience. The association supports professional development through training, publications, web magazines, expert resources and events, including its NU-days. It also provides information about the occupational health nurse’s role for students and others interested in the profession, and recognises contributions through initiatives such as its occupational health nurse award and scholarships. Organisations with relevant training, products or methods can also advertise through the association’s website. With more than 300 occupational health nurses involved, Riksföreningen works to raise awareness of the profession and its contribution to individuals, workplaces and society.
