Forever Grateful Ltd

Forever Grateful is an Australian not-for-profit health promotion charity that raises awareness of organ donation and supports cardiac research and survivor-led initiatives. Its work centres on a simple message: organ donation is a family decision, and conversations about a person’s wishes can help families make informed choices. The charity uses lived experience, storytelling and education to make those discussions easier to begin, while celebrating survival and the medical research that can make second chances possible.

Forever Grateful offers in-person talks for schools, workplaces and community groups, sharing honest accounts of heart failure, transplantation and recovery. It also produces short films and social media content featuring transplant recipients, survivors and donor families, designed for classrooms and public awareness campaigns. Its education program for Years 10–12 helps young Australians understand organ donation through talks and video resources, with content developed alongside Donate Life NSW and aligned with national education priorities. The organisation also presents research and information on donation and heart health.
