Forget-Me-Not Support Group

Forget-Me-Not Baby Loss Support is a charity dedicated to supporting families who have experienced the loss of a baby. Founded in 1992 in response to the lack of bereavement support available to parents, the group grew from efforts to fund a dedicated suite at Basildon Hospital. Today, it offers a welcoming community where bereaved families can share their experiences, remember their babies and find support among people who understand.

The charity holds fortnightly support meetings at Manor Mission Church in Laindon. Families are welcome to talk, listen or simply sit with others, and refreshments and free parking are available. Its other services include a garden created for bereaved parents and their angel babies, and an annual memorial service that welcomes family members, friends and children. The service includes a dove release and offers opportunities to share readings, poems and meaningful songs.
