Conservation Heritage-Turambe (CHT) is a dedicated organization focused on conservation, community development, and education in Rwanda. Through various programs, CHT aims to bridge the gap between wildlife conservation, community well-being, and environmental stewardship.

One of our core initiatives is our After School Conservation and Health Programs, where we educate local community members, especially children, about wildlife conservation, with a focus on mountain gorillas in Volcanoes National Park. Through art projects and educational activities, we instill a sense of environmental stewardship and promote recycling and reusing materials.

CHT also works towards improving community livelihoods by addressing basic needs such as access to clean water, sustainable farming practices, and promoting good hygiene. We support initiatives like school gardens, building clean latrines, and providing alternative income sources to reduce dependency on the national park's resources.

In addition, CHT organizes community events, sports activities, and educational workshops to engage the public and promote healthy living practices. Our Tennis Program, in partnership with the Musanze District, offers children a safe space to learn and play tennis, promoting teamwork, competition spirit, and proper sportsmanship.
