About Forhelse
Forhelse, or the Research Center for Digital Health Services, is dedicated to increasing access to safe and evidence-based healthcare services by leveraging digital technology. As a division of the Mental Health Care Division in Helse Bergen, Forhelse focuses on externally funded multi-year research and innovation projects. Working closely with national and international partners in academia, industry, healthcare, and user organizations, Forhelse is at the forefront of advancing digital health services.
The main activities of Forhelse are centered around two long-term projects: Forhelse SFI and UngMeistring. These projects delve into research topics such as effectiveness, cost-benefit analysis, early method assessment, implementation, and the outcomes and publications related to these themes. By 2025, Forhelse aims to increase the utilization of digital mental health interventions to 15%, and by 2030, to 20%, ultimately improving the mental well-being of the population.
